The RiseTec XTRA 8 MS is an 8×19 Seale steel wire rope with combined steel and fibre core (IWRC).

We recommend this application for installation where the traction sheave abrasion has a higher impact on the service life, than bending. The thicker wires of the Seale Construction have a higher abrasion resistance. The lubricant reservoir of the fiber content in the core offers a long service lifetime of the steel wire rope.
