The RiseTec XTRA 8 MW is an 8×19 Warrington steel wire rope with combined steel and fibre core (IWRC).

We recommend this application for installation where bends impact service life more than traction sheave abrasion. The Warrington construction of the outer strands secure a high resistance against the bending and deformation while passing the traction sheave.
